International Domestic Violence and Health Conference: Sustainable Change in the Health Sector

The Safer Families held its first international conference in November 2018. 400 delegates from all over the world comprising practitioners, survivors, carers, researchers, students, policy makers, community leaders, managers and advocates joined us over two days to discuss early intervention for domestic violence in health settings.

Our Conference was held on 20-21 November 2018  at the RACV City Club in Melbourne.

We thank all the delegates, speakers and sponsors who supported our Conference.

Our conference especially honours the voices of survivors and celebrates the culture and kinship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
