GP Facilitators - Family Violence Education - Tasmania
Are you a GP or primary care nurse interested in improving the capacity of primary care to respond to domestic and family violence?
The Safer Families Centre is seeking GPs and primary care nurses from Tasmania to join our Safer Families team to help deliver a domestic and family violence practice-centred training program in primary care settings.
Casual employment by The University of Melbourne is available to become a GP Facilitator to deliver the education to primary care staff in General Practices. Receiving free training by University of Melbourne, facilitators build capacity and advance the way services address domestic and family violence. You will deliver training to clinical and non-clinical staff to further develop their skills, knowledge and confidence in identification and response to domestic and family violence. All train the trainer training and materials are provided. Our next train the trainer session is scheduled for May 6. So apply now before its too late.
