Thank you for your interest in this research!

My name is Libby – I’m a GP and a researcher within the Department of General Practice at the University of Melbourne.

We know that during pregnancy, poor mental health, exposure to domestic and family violence, and alcohol use can all cause significant harm to mothers and their children. However, we also know that it can be challenging to conduct psychosocial screening to identify these issues within the primary care setting when providing antenatal care. We want to explore GP perspectives on whether integrated digital screening and clinical decision support tools in primary care software would be helpful in supporting GPs to identify and respond to these issues.

We have created a prototype of what these digital tools might look like, and we would love to get your perspectives on whether these tools would have value in your clinical practice setting. This will involve taking part in a 45–60-minute interview, during which you will be shown a brief demonstration of the prototype of the digital tool, and then would be asked to discuss what would or wouldn’t work about this tool in your clinical practice context.

Participants will receive a $50 gift voucher to thank them for their time.
