Murder inquest: coroner calls for review of all family violence deaths

Victoria's coroner has called for a review of all family-violence related deaths after the inquest into the murder of a Melbourne woman, who was strangled to death by her former partner.

Victoria Police acknowledged there were multiple times they could have changed the course of events in the lead up to the death of Joy Maree Rowley.

Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews says it's a national issue that needs to be addressed.
